Transparent Heaters
Transparent heaters are substrates coated with transparent and electrically conductive ITO coatings. Bus bars are provided at the edge of the heater for integration with an external power source. ITO coatings can be index-matched (IMITO) along with an anti-reflective coating to reduce reflectance at various interfaces. ITO glasses are laminated and autoclaved for higher strengths.
